Reservationist
THE JOB
The potential candidate presents a positive first impression of friendliness, excellent service and high standards. A Reservationist must be able to carry natural conversation with guests without sounding scripted or intrusive. As a member of an energetic team, the candidate must possess an upbeat positive attitude while maintaining a professional demeanor. The candidate must be organized, self-motivated, and possess general restaurant knowledge.
THE DETAILS
- • Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; direct them towards the restaurant, answer any questions and/or provide menus and reservation assistance.
- • Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service
- • Tend to special Guest needs and requests
- • Answer guest emails, voicemails, and slack in a timely manner
- • Process all reservation requests, changes and cancellations received by phone, email or third party request and provide attentive, courteous and efficient customer service at all times.
- • Maintain a thorough knowledge of Fleetwood’s on Front St. and all its’ grounds, products, and services as well as awareness of other roles and responsibilities throughout the organization
- • Take to-go orders and properly communicate them with the MOD via Slack
- • Observant to Guests’ needs throughout reservation experience to ensure they receive high quality service and thorough direction
- • Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and COVID-19 policies
- • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kiosk
- • Assists guests with future reservations noting special celebrations and guest preferences
- • Getting to know repeat guests and developing rapport
- • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- • Offering genuine hospitality and above and beyond service to the guest
- • Anticipate potential issues and problems and engage proactively to avoid them
- • Resolve guest problems quickly, efficiently and courteously
- • Listen carefully to understand all guest requests, respond with appropriate action and provide accurate information
- • Remain up-to-date and familiar with procedures, events at Fleetwood’s, local attractions, directions and other information on the local area in order to provide accurate information to guests and visitors
- • Step in for other staff as needed
- • Attend staff meetings as needed
- • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or other management

- Self motivated
- 1+ years full-service restaurant experience
- Must be a Maui resident
